Return & Refund Policy

This policy covers gate hardware purchased through our online store — hinges, locks, closers, drop bolts, and the rest of the catalog you can add to a cart. Manufactured equipment (turnstiles, gates, canopies, and custom fabrication) is built to order and sold by quote; returns on that equipment are governed by our Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, not this policy.

The short version

Unused hardware in its original packaging can come back within 30 days. Call us first for a return authorization, ship it back, and once it checks out we refund the merchandise price to your original payment method. If we shipped you the wrong thing or it arrived damaged, that's on us — we make it right at no cost to you.

30-day return window

You may return eligible hardware within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, an item must be:

• Unused and uninstalled — no mounting marks, tool marks, cut cables, or drilled holes;
• In its original packaging with all included fasteners, keys, templates, and instructions;
• Accompanied by a return authorization (RMA) number issued by our team.

What can't come back

• Hardware that has been installed, modified, cut to size, or keyed;
• Special-order and non-stocked items brought in for your order (we'll tell you at the time of sale when an item is special-order);
• Items returned without an RMA number, or more than 30 days after delivery;
• Manufactured equipment and custom fabrication — see the PO Terms and Conditions.

How to start a return

Call (800) 590-0464 or email sales@outlawindustries.co with your order number (it starts with WEB- and is on your confirmation email) and what you're sending back. We'll issue an RMA number and the return address. Return shipping is your responsibility unless the return is our error.

Refunds

Once the return arrives and passes inspection, we refund the merchandise price to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Original freight charges are not refunded unless the return is our error. Returns that arrive incomplete, damaged from poor packing, or outside the policy may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount — we'll call you before doing either.

Wrong item, damaged, or defective

Inspect your order when it arrives. If something is wrong — wrong part, shipping damage, or a manufacturing defect — tell us within 5 business days of delivery and we'll cover the fix: replacement or full refund, return freight on us. For freight (LTL) deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing; it makes the carrier claim, and your replacement, much faster.

Exchanges

We don't run a formal exchange program — the fastest route is a return for refund and a fresh order for the right part. If you're not sure what you need, call before ordering; you'll get the crew that ships the hardware, and they'll tell you straight what fits your gate.
