Jacobs
This project was for Jacobs! A world wide Engineering/Construction company. Jacobs was looking for a system to secure one of their construction sites in Sanford, North Carolina! They were building a facility for Pfizer, a 230-acre site in Sanford, North Carolina, just south of the famed Research Triangle, is home to one of the largest U.S. biotechnology hubs. The site has flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities and facilities focused on vaccines intermediates and drug substance, and gene therapy drug substance and drug product. After looking around for a solution they decided to go with www.TURNSTILES.us and Outlaw Industries for their secure entrance to the site. www.TURNSTILES.us provided a complete access control system including a computer with EntraPass, Kantech door controllers, card readers, video intercoms, HID printer with HID credentials, and remote support and training for the end user. Outlaw Industries provided the turnstiles and the installation of the access control system with the turnstiles. Jacobs supplied their own electricians and had the concrete slab ready when we arrived on site. With this particular job there were some issues with the locking mechanisms in the turnstiles. It turned out to be a manufacturer defect. Because of our close relationship with the distributor www.TURNSTILES.us and www.locinox.com we are able to provide unrivaled warranty services. Our installation crew went back to this installation twice to figure out what was going on with the turnstiles and got them back up and running as soon as possible.
